Within our stochastics curriculum, we offer an innovative beginner’s course in statistics for second year bachelor students. In addition to a mathematically solid introduction into the concepts of statistics, the students learn how to use the computer as a simulation device for statistical inference. This contrasts courses in applied statistics where the computer is used as a black box to perform data analysis and tests. We use the free software RStudio.

I have experience in statistical consultation with partners from in- and outside university. Inquiries are welcome.
