Effective models for reactive flow and transport in evolving porous media – Vortragende: Nadja Ray, Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt – Einladender: M. Gugat
We consider reactive flow and transport in porous media. We introduce an effective model which is capable of taking into account evolving microstructures due to mineral precipitation/dissolution. We discuss and compare possible parametrizations of the model, namely by heuristic or parametric approaches, by multiscale modeling or machine learning techniques. The challenges in treating the model analytically are outlined and existence results obtained are presented. Finally, numerical simulations are shown.
