Abstract: In the theory of C*-algebras one of the fundamental sources of examples is the crossed product construction, which associates a C*-algebra $A \rtimes_r G$ for to any C*-dynamical system $G \curvearrowright A$. With the recent completion of the Elliott classification programme, it became a natural question to ask which of these examples fit within its scope (are classifiable). In this talk we will attempt to give an overview of the subject and describe the current state of the art.
