Titel: Coadjoint orbits of Ham(R2) consisting of Plane Curves

Abstract:
Singular vorticities for fluids are confined to coadjoint orbits of the group
of
volume preserving diffeomorphisms. Some of these coadjoint orbits in 2D and 3D
involve closed curves. I will describe their Kostant-Kirillov-Souriau
symplectic
structures, as well as prequantizations.
